This is something different than I've done before. Midwinter is not a song, but rather like a modern tone poem. The musical distillation of the emotional response I have to the dark, cold midwinter season.

This is not a piece you put on to rock out to. It is mid-tempo and somber, heavy but atmospheric. I find it to be almost meditative.
