God of War 03:29
It was the night before battle, and all through the camp Apprehension hung thick in the air. The young men sat quiet in fear of the dawn And the fate that awaited them there. "Why the long faces?" the Veteran said As he stepped in the dim fire light. "I've seen many days, many wars, many graves So I'll give you a tip for this night." Raise your ale to the god of war Raise your horn on high Fear not the rays of the coming sun My friends, we all must die! "But we fear for our lives and we fear for our friends, Our comrades and brothers in arms. So short is the time we have spent on this earth, Our sorrow'd be great with them gone." He said, "The earth I have spilled o're companions and friends Could rival a mountain in height. But I'll fear not the day, raise a drink to their name, I shall see them again when I die!" "For the time that we have, be it short or it long, Should be lived with both honor and pride. So that should come the day when they stand o're your grave They'll say - Twas a valorous life!" Raise your ale to the god of war Raise your horn on high Fear not the rays of the coming sun My friends, we all must die!

Out of the night came Halbarad, Ranger of the North, With the sons of Elrond at his side. "The heir of Isuldir has need of his kin, Let now the Dunedain ride." Word from Imladris the riders did bring Which would fill their receiver with dread. "The days are short, if thou art in haste, Remember the paths of the dead!" In the tower of the Hornburg the Ranger prepared To contend with the black Orthanc stone. The right was his, if the will was enough. He challenged the Dark Lord alone. Seizing the orb, with the strength of his mind He perceived foul intentions abroad. A fleet of corsairs made haste from the south. Soon all of Gondor would fall! Down to the Dwimmorborg's root, 'Neath the black trees we rode. And there past the columns of most ancient stone, A door in the rock like the mouth of night below! "My blood runs chill!" To pass through the door in the face of terror Steady are the hearts of the northern rangers Where Elessar leads they are sure to follow Need shall take them, strength shall guide them Death is all to be found down this road But they may suffer him to pass them Long to the living have these ways been closed Isildur's heir may use it - if he dare! At Erech stands from ancient times a stone of Numenor, And there the mountain men to Gondor fealty they swore. When Sauron grew to might again and they would not come to fight, Isildur he cursed them ne'er to rest. Now deep into the heart of the earth he led them. Doom approaches, the dead awaken. Past the bones of those before him. The hour has come for the oath-breakers. And there amidst the whispering darkness, "Keep your hoards and secrets hidden, I summon you to the stone of Erech!" No answer but the ever silent dark And so they made their way to Morthond in the midst of fear. While all around the shadow sound of many feet drew near. The shades of men and horses, pale banners shred like clouds, And spears like winter thickets on a misty night. "The dead are following. They have been summoned" "The King of the dead! The King of the dead is coming!" "Oath-breakers, why have ye come?" "To fulfill our oath and have peace!" "The hour has come, to Pelargir I go, And ye shall come after me. When the servants of Sauron are cleaned from this land Then shall I hold your oaths met. And ye shall have peace, and forever depart. Back to the paths of the dead!"

Here I sit, all alone. The blackest throne, the blackest throne. And all I see is all that I own. Trapped inside my silent home. Cast my mind through seeing stone, Searching for an answer to questions yet unknown. All the worlds knowledge known Cannot save me from the blackest throne. And so I wait... I walk the streets, all alone. The darkness wreaths my bitter soul. Walking till I can't remember home. Waiting for me there, the blackest throne. The blackest throne.

Warg Rider 06:22
Under the light of a harvest moon we ride for human lands. I am one with my lupine brethren - Take my sword in hand! The time has come for the yearly raids. We'll take all we can get. Should any dare to stand in our way, let their blood be spilt! Chosen at birth by tribal elders, raised amongst the pack. Only the great survive the challenge. There's no turning back! Of fur and fang, blood and steel, a symbiotic force. Tonight's the night - I am unleashed! - to prove what I am worth! Warg Rider! Born of the den, son of the wild. Warg Rider! You cannot stand up to my might. I am the terror of the night! We crest the hill in bounding strides, our eager eyes behold The dancing lights of village fires in the plains below. The sentries are to no avail, felled with a single strike. The howl of warg and screams of man fill the air this night! Warg Rider! Born of the den, son of the wild. Warg Rider! You cannot stand up to my might. No one could ever match the Warg Rider! Son of the den, my fury's primal Warg Rider! You cannot stand up to my might. I am the terror!

I am the forest lord, unquestioned master of the hunt. I am a sylvan god, the 'nighted woodland is my haunt. I hear them calling out to me. The wolves they hear my cry and they shall heed! Howl of the night pack! I am a legend in the whispers of the village after dark. I stalk the borderlands, my mournful cry strikes terror in their hearts. Heed my call when moonlight grips the land. Hear me twice and know your days are at hand! Howl of the night pack! I am a memory of a long forgotten age. A scion of the dawn of time, I remember elder days. When animal, in harmony, we ruled across the land. And taught to him, the budding child, Oh, we trained the man. Born naked and helpless to that primeval forest floor, We sheltered them in kindness, taught to them druidic lore. But with this borrowed knowledge, their heads filled with foolish pride. They spat upon their teachers, they turned upon all nature's kind. I speak of betrayal A violation to the core And they can never be forgiven There shall be vengeance, there shall be war! Mankind is a parasite, a virus, a disease, A plague upon the living world. They thwart the natural order with their heretic machines, Desecrating all they come to touch. We shall destroy them, by fang, hoof, claw and root. Return the earth to better days. Sound the battle cry the very earth will follow suite. Leave them rotting beneath the forest floor! I am primordial, I walked the earth before the dawn of man. I am the wolfen god and soon shall come the day of my revenge. For every slaughtered pup and fallen tree, Hearken, Man, your judgment comes for thee! Howl of the night pack!

Deep in the heart of the world of fog Lie the halls of the dead. And there 'neath the shelter of sleet-battered walls The Goddess she lays them to rest. Dark is her countenance, grim are her halls, Famine, disease are her fare. But all who are mortal and wonder this earth Must ready for welcoming there. Do you seek death to be truly alive? The struggle for breath like a fire inside? Where my ancestors dwell, There I am longing to tread. And bask in their wisdom and the stories they tell, There I would lay down my head. Goddess! I am worn of the earth. My feet feel the weight of the years. Grant me your blessing that I may know Your embrace at the end of my years. "Life is but a dream there comes a time when you must wake. You are but a dreamer can you resolve to your fate?" Do you seek death to be truly alive? To know her caress at the end of your life? Lo! As in answer to prayer, A raven alighted before. And spoke unto me in the language of man, Thus did my Goddess implore: "Few are the men who so truly have lived To dare think them worthy of me! Show me your worth with your life and your deeds. Then may my company keep!"

High in the mountains, down by the sea, Deep in the dark wood or brambled ravine, There you may hear me as I march along Singing my Troll Hunting Song! Stout as a tree trunk, handsome and strong. Sharp is my broadsword, loud is my gun. And I've got a voice that will make them all run In fear of my Troll Hunting Song! Sharp are their teeth and their great claws! With ease they can rip you in twain. I am their bane, with my hallowed refrain! If there are monsters, never you fear. Stand to them bravely and know I am near. Many's the foe we shall leave in our wake. I'm always just o're the horizon Singing my Troll Hunting Song!

They came with the dawn, under shadow and fog. Like a wolf in the night, they crept up on their prey. Scattered and scared, we were never prepared. Now our homes lie in ashes, or rue for the day. Red was the day and the clouds on the bay They hung black and with menace, a mirror to the grave. Woke to the horns so mocking and forlorn And the screaming black arrows came down like the rain. Black ones, raiders came out of the mountains like thunder that day. Foul ones, killing and maiming our loved ones, with horror they came. Storm, Fire, Death!
